Haven't written in a long while.... the play is over, so I have slightly more time, though I do miss the cast.... last week I spent an incredible amount of time studying for our massive Hebrew test.....hopefully tomorrow i will write something interesting , but for now, I'm tired.... p.s. those of you who don't go to WUMP, please come to the talent show and cheer for RELM :)

hmmm- to write a totally pointless post about what i've been up to this week, or to attempt to write about some deep, philosophical subject?  How 'bout a mixture?  What Don Davis had to say Monday night really spoke to me.  We're free to be radical for Christ.  Sometimes I think that is simultaneously my strongest desire and my biggest fear.  So many people that I want to get to know but am of afraid of approaching because of what they might think of me.  You'd think I'd be over that by now, but to be completely cliche-ish, old habbits die hard.  For that matter, old hobbits do too!

so i haven't posted for over a week, because all of a sudden life picked up its pace again.  saw phantom of the opera, loved it, then watched Garden State, think i liked that even more--it was deep. nothing else is interesting, busy with the play, wump was cool, nothing new.... so i should make some deep philosophical comment about life right about now:  I wouldnt exactly agree with all the values presented in Garden State, but i think the idea of living in the present is worth considering.  not like that's new news or anything.  oh plus, one of the characters talked about laughing about your life.  She has epilepsy and so her employer makes her wear protective head gear as a condition for her to be covered by their health insurance.  About those kinds of things in life, she says,  sure she cries, but in between, she has to laugh.  And sometimes the cries feel really good.  I knew what she meant, at least when it comes to my hair.  I think part of it is that you have to laugh, cause if you weren't laughing, then you'd be crying.
